More than 750 people came out for the 18th annual Red Ribbon Carnival at the North Dakota National Guard Aviation Readiness Center in South Bismarck.

School aged children from around the area came to play games, win prizes, and learn valuable lessons about staying drug-free.

Donations of non-perishable foods were collected at the door, with more than 11 boxes of food collected for the Community Action food pantry. All kids who came out got 5 free tickets just for showing up, and could purchase more to keep playing games all night long. One of the more popular games saw kids predicting which of the colorful pigs would win the race!

Police, Fire, EMT, and National Guard also had some of their vehicles on display for the kids to see and learn more about.

Thank you to everyone that came out to join us! We look forward to the 19th annual next year!
