2 Men Found in Bismarck with $2.5M in Heroin
Frank Villa and Charles Ahumada were arrested in Bismarck on Dec. 29 after a search of their vehicle uncovered drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and a staggering $2.5 million worth of heroin.
The pair, travelling in a car with Nevada plates, were stopped on Monday evening by police for unspecified reasons at mile marker 159 on I94.
A K9 search of the vehicle revealed a comparatively small amount of meth, syringes and other drug paraphernalia, alongside 3 bricks of heroin with a street value of $2.5 million -- plus, according to KXNews, "items that help deter law enforcement detection."
Villa is being held on a $25,000 bond; Ahumada has not yet been seen in court.
