Hosted by comedian T.J. Miller, the 2016 21st Annual Critics Choice Awards aired on A&E last night (Sunday January 17) live from Santa Monica, and in true award show form, the stars of film and television alike made grand appearances on the red carpet.

Jennifer Aniston arrived alongside and in support of her beau Justin Theroux, who was nominated for his first Critics' Choice award for best actor in a drama series for HBO's The Leftovers—which he ultimately lost later in the evening to Rami Malek from Mr. Robot. Also appearing as a couple on the carpet, indie darlings Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano, who was nominated for best supporting actor for his role in Love & Mercy.

Meanwhile,  Krysten Ritter, looking stunning in a shimmering burgundy Zuhair Murad gown on the red carpet, was nominated for best actress in a drama series for her portrayal of Marvel's heroine Jessica Jones on the titular breakout Netflix show—which, by the way, has just been renewed for a second season per Netflix's Sunday announcement.

Other stars who graced the red carpet included funny ladies Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Schaal, and Amy Schumer, American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson, Jurassic World's Bryce Dallas Howard, Zoe Kravitz, Aziz Ansari, and more.

Big winners of the evening included Pixar's Inside Out (best animated feature), Leonardo DiCaprio (best actor for The Revenant), Amy Schumer (best actress in a comedy for Trainwreck), and The Voice (best reality show competition).
