3 tiny houses that showed up at the site of a crash that spilled over 2,000 piglets onto the road in Xenia, Ohio have been removed by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The straw, stick, and brick houses appeared shortly after the crash, making a reference to the old "3 little pigs" fairy tale. While the big bad wolf didn't come through and blow these houses down, the Ohio DOT has removed them from the roadside. Authorities say the memorial was removed because it was causing traffic jams in the area. Drivers were slowing down to see the memorial, and others were stopping roadside to get their picture taken next to the buildings.

It is unknown who put up the houses originally. Authorities estimate that 1,000 piglets died in the crash, or are still on the loose.
