    Dakota Zoo

    The Dakota Zoo is a great place to take the kids on a sunny afternoon.

    Get an up close and personal view of the 600 animals, birds, reptiles and fish that call The Dakota Zoo home. There are even certain species you can feed and touch!

    For those of you with younger children that may have trouble keeping up with all the excitement, bring your stroller or catch the train which gives a tour of the whole zoo!

    Raging Rivers Waterpark

    Raging Rivers is not your average swimming pool, it is a full blown waterpark equipped with fun for all ages!

    There is an area for the little ones while the older, more adventurous kids can take their pick between two large water slides then float down the lazy river.

    Dacotah Speedway

    Mandan's Dacotah Speedway is sure to bring high-speed excitement to a family night out.

    The track hosts five different divisions weekly including: IMCA Modifieds, WISSOTA Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks and more!

    The Demolition Derby and Monster Truck Show are only two of the special events held outside of the weekly races.

    North Dakota Heritage Center

    Not all summer days in Bismarck-Mandan are sunny and 75, so plan a trip to the North Dakota Heritage Center.

    Two of the four galleries are now open to the public!

    View North Dakota's history from the beginning as you learn about the prehistoric era. Then discover what life was like as one of the first people to inhabit North Dakota.

    The Treehouse is an interactive exhibit designed for children ages pre-school - third grade. It is expected to open this summer!

    Superslide Amusement Park

    The Superslide Amusement Park has been a part of our community since 1967 and it continues to provide fun for the whole family!

    There is a great miniature golf course, bumper cars, ferris wheel and so much more!

    The most popular activity, of course, is the superslide which gives you a great view of the entire park from the top.
