There were reports Tuesday morning, October 13th, of an active shooter on the east side of Bismarck.

According to KFYR, a 36-year old man fired shots near N. 35th St. and Rosser Ave. N. 35th St. has been barricaded.

KFYR has confirmed that the shooter barricaded himself inside a home and that officers have been shot at, though they did not return fire. The SWAT team has surrounded the home.

Other homes in the area have been evacuated.
