Be Prepared for More Construction on I-94 Near Mandan

Not to interrupt your Labor Day weekend mood, but be prepared for construction on two I-94 bridges near Mandan to start on Tuesday, just after the holiday.

Repair work on bridges at the Sunset Drive exit 152 interchange and the Sweetbriar overpass over I-94 at reference point 136, just west of Mandan will begin on Tuesday (September 4th). This, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

The news release from NDDOT states that during construction:

• Speeds will be reduced through the work zones on I-94 and Sunset Drive
• Flaggers may be present
• Traffic may be reduced to one lane at times

The construction project is expected to be completed around mid-September.
