The Bismarck Bobcats are one step closer to their second Robertson Cup, after defeating the Austin Bruins 4-0 Monday night, May 9th, to advance to the Robertson Cup semifinals.

Game 5 started slow for both teams, with neither scoring in the first period. The Bobcats, however, were able to get off the schneid in the second period, finding the back of the net twice to take a 2-0 lead. They added two empty netters in the third period to take the 4-0 win.

The goals for the Bobcats came from forwards Solag Bakich and Jared Pike, who scored two goals each in the win. The shutout went to goalie Hunter Shepard.

The Bobcats will now advance to the Robertson Cup semifinals, where they'll face the Wichita Falls Wildcats.

The Robertson Cup Final Four will take place May 12th through the 15th in Edina, Minnesota. Joining the Bobcats and the Wildcats in Minnesota will be the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and the Aston Rebels.
