The Bismarck Bobcats' trip to Alaska hasn't exactly gone the way they had hoped, after the team dropped the first two games of the trek to the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.

The Bobcats were held to just one goal on Friday night (Oct. 3rd), scored by Alex Toscano in the second period. The Ice Dogs put three in the back of the net to win the first game of their two-game homestand 3-1.

Saturday night's (Oct. 4th) game was a bit closer for the Bobcats, but they couldn't put the puck in the net after scoring two early goals in the first period. The Bobcats dropped the second game to the Ice Dogs 3-2.

The Bobcats have two more games scheduled on their Alaska road trip: They'll take on Kenai River this Friday and Saturday, October 10th and 11th, at the Soldotna Sports Center.

The Bobcats return to the VFW Sports Center to face Austin on Friday, October 17th.
