Today is National Signing Day across NCAA football and NDSU has wasted little time bringing a little North Dakota flavor to this year's class.

Bismarck High defensive end Stanley Jones has signed a letter of intent to play football for NDSU in the fall. Jones was a two-time state champion, while at BHS, and was named the 2013 USA Today American Family Insurance All-USA North Dakota Team Defensive Player of the Year. Jones had over 130 tackles during his career at BHS.

Jones isn't the only North Dakotan headed to NDSU, though. Safety Eric Bachmeier (Kindred) and offensive linemen Luke Bacon (Granville) and Tanner Volson (Balfour) will also join the Bison in the fall.
