Twenty Bismarck Police Officers are on scene at and around US Food Services in North Bismarck after receiving a report of a man with a gun.

UPDATE 4:30 pm: According to a press release, the Bismarck Police Department responded to a report of a man with a gun outside of US Food Services in North Bismarck. A 911 phone call was made regarding a woman who was confronted by a man outside of the building who drew a handgun from a holster. The man with the gun demanded witnesses leave.

A perimeter was set up by police around the area. Local businesses and schools were notified so they could take necessary safety precautions. The suspect was not found in US Food Services.

The unharmed victim has been interviewed by Bismarck Police. The suspect has not been found but his identity has been determined. He is not believed to be in the Bismarck area. A warrant for his arrest is in the process. He is described as a 31-year-old black male with a Bismarck address.

UPDATE 1:30 pm: The area around 3500 Saratoga Ave has been cleared by the Bismarck Police Department. They are still investigating other leads, but the area is now open to the public.

Bismarck Police have not found any evidence of a shooter as of yet. People have been cleared out of US Food Services.

According to the Bismarck Police Department Facebook, there is a possible man with a gun in the 3500 Block of Saratoga Ave. They advise all to stay out of the area.

Legacy High School and Shiloh Christian School have been put on Shelter in Place as a precaution. Students and staff will stay in the school until the Shelter in Place has been lifted.
