While reading your paper this morning you may have noticed something a little out of place in the 'Outdoors' section.

We all make mistakes, but when those mistakes are sent to thousands of people to read while they enjoy their morning coffee, it becomes a bigger issue. The Bismarck Tribune had an unfortunate misprint in its Thursday, October 8 newspaper.

An innocent picture of a few waterfowl hunters quickly took on a whole new meaning with one letter change. The word was supposed to be 'ducks' but the 'D' got swapped with an 'F.' OOPS!

The Tribune has issued the following apology to its readers:

The Tribune inadvertently printed an inappropriate word in a cutline in Thursday's Tribune, we sincerely apologize for the error. We take these matters very seriously, and are taking necessary steps to ensure they don't occur in the future.
We expect to provide a higher quality product and again, apologize for the mistake. We appreciate those who have reached out to us regarding the matter, we will strive to do better in the future.

Whether it offended you or made you laugh, a lot more people are reading the 'Outdoors' section of the paper.
