Bobcats’ Cullen Willox Pays Visit to 4-Year-Old Bismarck Boy with Cancer
Cullen Willox of the Bismarck Bobcats took some time during his off-season to make the day of a four-year-old fan with with liver cancer.
Landon LaVallie, originally from Bismarck, is being treated at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital for cancer after doctors found a tumor in his liver just last week.
Willox, the top-scoring rookie of last season, along with Bobcats owner and CEO, Thom Brigl, visited the young fan in Minnesota and brought him a variety of gifts, including a hard-to-find SCRRRATCH bobblehead, balloons and an invitation to be a personal guest at an upcoming home game.
LaVallie's family started a Facebook group called 'Team Landon' to keep people updated and to receive words of encouragement. His mother, Michelle, posted her gratitude to Willox and Brigl thanking them for their 'kindness, support and generosity.'

The Bobcats are not strangers to fighting childhood cancer. They partner with Basin Electric for the annual St. Baldrick's Game which has raised nearly $50 thousand in the last five years.
