Bismarck State College premiers its original documentary, Celebrating 75 Years: The Story of Bismarck State College, Thursday, Jan. 23.

The public is invited to view the film for free in the Bavendick Stateroom located in the National Energy Center of Excellence at 7:30 p.m.

The documentary is roughly 90 minutes in length and contains material gathered through 60 interviews and countless hours of research. The film highlights how BSC got its start on the third floor of Bismarck High School in 1939 as a depression-era experiment.

An encore showing will be held Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Basin Electric Auditorium, also located in the National Energy Center of Excellence.
