If you can tell by the subzero temperatures outside, New Year's Eve night will be a bone-chilling one as there's a Wind Chill Advisory in effect until noon on New Year's Day.

According to the National Weather Service in Bismarck, wind chills for the Bismarck-Mandan region and surrounding areas are expected to dip between -30 and -40 tonight into Tuesday morning.

The dangerously cold wind chills could lead to frostbite for exposed skin in just as little as 10 minutes.

If you're planning to be out on the town tonight for the New Year's celebration, be sure to bundle up properly!

As for the remainder of the week, after single-digit forecasted temperatures have us looking at a high of about 6 tomorrow, temperatures are expected to be back in the 30s and possibly the 40s for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

But while you're out tonight, not only should you be sure to party responsibly, but also dress responsibly. Happy New Year, Bismarck-Mandan!
