Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles needed a win on the road and they got one in dominant fashion on Thursday Night Football against the New York Giants.

Wentz threw for 278 yards on 26 of 38 passing with three touchdowns without an interception and led the Eagles to a 34-13 road victory over the Giants.

The Eagles took control early in the first half after Eli Manning threw an interception to give the Eagles great field position at the Giants 16-yard line. The Eagles cashed in on 3rd down when Wentz avoided a crowded picked before rolling to his right and then throwing across his body to Alshon Jeffery for a 13-yard touchdown making it 7-0. The Eagles never trailed.

After an Giants field goal and two possessions later, the Eagles used a short field to score on a 1-yard touchdown from Corey Clement to make it 14-3.

Another Giants field goal made it 14-6 before the Eagles used a 4 play, 75-yard drive to make it a 21-6 game. Wentz threw to Nelson Agholor on a 58-yard pass play to setup a 10-yard touchdown pass from Wentz to Zach Ertz to make it 21-6.

Another Eagles field goal made it 24-6 at the half. The Eagles scored again on their first possession of the second half to make it 31-6 on a 1-yard wide receiver screen pass to Alshon Jeffery.

Jeffery finished with 74 yards on 8 catches and the two TDs while Agholor led the team with 91 yards on just three catches.

Saquoin Barkley was the best player for the Giants with 130 yards rushing and 99 yards receiving on 24 touches. Manning was 24 of 43 for 281 yards and an interception.

The Eagles move to 3-3 while the Giants fall to 1-5.  Philadelphia will host the Carolina Panthers (3-1) next Sunday at noon.
