Carson Wentz seems to be recovering well from the broken rib he suffered in his NFL debut.

Following Wentz's diagnosis earlier this month, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he was hoping Wentz could play again in the preseason finale against the Jets on Sept. 1.

according to CSN Philly, Wentz went through a long pregame warm up regimen.

Wentz threw passes for about an hour and remained on the field even after starter Sam Bradford and back up Chase Daniel went into the locker room.

It still is not 100% certain if Wentz will suit up for the last preseason game for the Jets. If he does not play, it is possible that his NFL debut will also be his 2016 season finale. Wentz is not expected to see any game action during the 2016 regular season.
