The Philadelphia Eagles like to pass the ball. A lot. This has given Carson Wentz an opportunity to set an NFL record this upcoming Sunday.

Wentz has 352 completions this season. The current record is 354 completions which was set by Sam Bradford in 2010 with the St. Louis Rams.

Barring an injury or a very unusual game of football, it is more than likely that Wentz will get the three completions he needs to set the record.

Of course, the opposing quarterback this Sunday is the rookie that has gained most of the attention as the season progressed as Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have just two losses on the season.

The Cowboys have a much more balanced offensive attack however since their rookie running back, Ezekiel Elliott has also emerged as a budding star in the NFL.

Prescott has 307 completions on the season.

Drew Brees holds the record for most completions in a season by a QB overall (regardless of experience in the league). Brees had 468 completions in 2011 with the New Orleans Saints.
