The NWS in Bismarck is calling for a frosty and icy night and commute Tuesday morning for the area.

The area can expect light freezing rain late tonight into the drive to work or school Tuesday. (12/8)

The system will move through the area tonight and will continue overnight effecting the communities of Williston, Bismarck, Mandan, Jamestown, Lincoln, New Salem, Linton, Steele and Ellendale.

A thin glaze of slippery ice on the roads and sidewalks are expected. At press time, there is uncertainty in regards to how much freezing rain will effect the area as temperatures will rise throughout the night.

Temperatures are expected to be near 60 degrees for the Bismarck area Wednesday.
