A YouTuber recently flew his drone over the Nielsville Bridge, which stretches over the Red River from Cummings, North Dakota to Nielsville, Minnesota, and got some pretty amazing footage.

The bridge, which is presently closed according to GhostsOfNorthDakota.com, was built in 1939. In recent years, however, it has begun to deteriorate, due to lack of use.

According to the Grand Forks Herald, the Nielsville Bridge was denied access to a portion of $500 million made available by the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant, meaning the bridge may not be fixed any time soon.

The two states still have the desire to fix the bridge and, apparently, Minnesota has the funds available for their side of the project. The North Dakota side, however, is another story. You can read more on the story HERE.
