Christmas With Us 2014 – Nominee #4

This nominee and his family are generally very private and self-sufficient. They will help anyone if it is within their power to do so. Recently they have fallen on very hard times.

The power has been extremely close to being turned off more than once this short winter. This nominee’s wife has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This has been kept a secret from the children. He has 2 sons that he adores and dotes on.

Although not very financially stable, he has also taken temporary custody of a troubled relative's young children. He has no vehicle but works 2 jobs with great reliability. They struggle daily to make ends meet but do not ask for help. Now with his wife's medical issues, the financial burden is more than he can handle.

I don't think his children will have much of a Christmas, but they certainly know they are loved. This nominee is a good man who has fallen on hard times through no fault of his own. Thank you.
