Ciara Slams Future With $15 Million Slander Lawsuit

Ciara and Future have broke up in August of 2014, but the drama surrounding their former relationship is endless. Future, in particular, has chosen to air their dirty laundry publicly, often subtweeting his ex-fiancee or straight-up mentioning her in the press -- and Ciara's officially had enough.

The “Jackie” singer has filed a $15 million defamation suit against Future, according to a report from TMZ. Ciara allegedly cites a specific radio interview where Future criticized Ciara for introducing her current boyfriend, NFL player Russell Wilson, to Ciara and Future's son, a conversation that was sparked after a photo of the two pushing baby Future around in a stroller made its way online.

“She probably set him [Russell] up,” Future said. “You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts.”

Ciara reportedly names other interviews in the suit, as well as a number of tweets Future posted referencing Ciara, her parenting skills and their son: "This bitch got control problems...I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture...the f---kery for 15k a month."

Ciara refutes this claim, saying Future has had at least 19 visitations with their son since December 2014, with some of them lasting for several days.

Ciara is reportedly suing the rapper for slander and libel and she wants Future to not only delete his tweets, but she wants him prohibited from saying anything about their son publicly.

The "Body Party" singer has spoken publicly about Future’s comments before, saying she tried to reach out to him and settle things privately but he refused to speak with her.

The two ended their engagement in August 2014 after rumors of Future’s infidelity surfaced, though he has since denied those claims.
