If you and about 9,000 people aren't doing anything sometime this winter, you can feel free to attempt this world record North Dakota set back in 2007.

The Guinness World Records indicates that North Dakota holds the world record for most snow angels made simultaneously in one place. A total of 8,962 snow angels were created on the state Capitol grounds in Bismarck on February 17, 2007. In fact, we've almost hit the 10th anniversary for it.

At the time, the event broke the previous record held by Michigan Technological University, as they had made 3,784 snow angels on the school's football field.

This can only lead to the conclusion that when it comes to snow angels:

North Dakota > Michigan (and everyone else).
