Ed Sheeran is making the collaboration rounds, hitting up big names like Hilary Duff and up-and-comers such as Rixton. Now on his radar? None other than Ms. Demi Lovato.

Duet rumors first popped up just a few weeks ago courtesy of the two collaborators themselves. Ed responded to a tweet from the 'Neon Lights' singer listing him as one of her dream collaborations, causing Sheerios and Lovatics to rejoice.

Demi responded pretty enthusiastically, so we’re not too surprised to see the rumors coming to fruition.

When the ‘X’ singer-songwriter spoke with Hollywire at Wango Tango, he had a few new details to share. “We’ve been emailing each other, so that’s a good step forward,” he revealed of his budding work relationship with Demi. “I’ll be seeing her at the end of the month.”

The pair moves fast, that’s for sure. Not that we're complaining! Hopefully that speediness will work its way to the collab and we’ll have it in our hands sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, we’ve got the two pop stars’ latest works, Demi’s ‘Really Don’t Care’ and Ed’s ‘Sing,’ to hold us over. Both songs are super catchy — seriously, they’ll be stuck in your head all day — but can you imagine those two sounds coming together? What do you think, PopCrushers?
