9:30 am. The event highlights American Indian culture from those attending the United Tribes International Powwow. All groups and individuals from the Bismarck/Mandan community and region are welcome to participate.
Entry forms are available from Michelle R. West, parade coordinator, 701-255-3285 x 1355, or mwest@uttc.edu. The fee is $40.
Parade of Champions staging begins at 8 a.m. at the State Capitol grounds with the start scheduled for 9:30 am.
The route is from Boulevard Avenue south on Sixth Street to Avenue C, west one block to Fifth Street, and south on Fifth Street through downtown to Kirkwood Mall, where participants disperse in the parking lot.
