This is like something from a horror movie. A Fargo neighborhood has seen an invasion of some big jackrabbits. And when we say big, we're talking about dog-sized rabbits!

Call it a swarm, an invasion or a herd, but more than 50 rabbits the size of dogs have been hopping around the backyards and parks in South Fargo.

It's a hairy situation! These bunnies are HUGE!

Kayla Straabe lives in the area. She told a local TV station-

"Every day, I feel like the crazy rabbit lady chasing them out of the yard where they're having a hay day," Straabe said. "There's at least 40 to 50 everyday, and they're in our yards and by a children's park."

She was told to poison the wascally wabbits but she can't do that. Straabe said at first the rabbits were cute, but now they are a nuisance and their droppings are starting to have a stench in the park.

And no pun intended, they are now multiplying like rabbits.  A female jackrabbit can bear two to four litters each year with one to nine offspring in each litter.

There is no city ordinance against rabbits according to the city.
