When the 2015 XXL Freshman Class cover was revealed earlier this month, each of the 10 rappers given the honor celebrated the achievement while the hip-hop community had mixed reactions over the selection. You either loved the chosen ones or hated them. Heated arguments are likely still going down but a highlight of the entire process is the Freshman Freestyles. Kicking off the showcase of lyrical dexterity is New Jersey's own Fetty Wap.

Fetty's catalog doesn't run too deep but songs like "Trap Queen" and his Drake-assisted ode "My Way" prove he knows the formula for crafting hits. The rapper isn't known for spitting bars off the top like many others in the game, but that doesn't mean his freestyle is lackluster. Instead of taking on the traditional rap approach, Fetty delivers his freestyle in his signature sing-song style.

All these n----s p---- 'cause they all whipped / My boys pullin' out guap 'cause we all rich / My boys pull out big knots 'cause we all flip / My boys givin' out shots 'cause they all sick," he delivers.
