FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK  has issued a FLASH FLOOD WATCH for the entire listening area including Bismarck, Mandan and a good portion of North and South Dakota as a swath of steady rain continues to drift across the states, moving east.

Some areas have already 3 inches of rain over the last 12 hours and any additional storms could produce heavy rains that can produce localized flooding with the greatest potential to occur South of I 94. The area has a 70% chance of additional showers and storms for today. The rain should end-east to west over night Sunday into Monday morning. this FLASH FLOOD watch is in effect for the area until Monday Morning.
