Your closet is filled with tons of shoes and clothes, right? And, living in North Dakota, you probably have certain "summer" and "winter" outfits. But, who says you can't wear flip flops or open toed shoes in the middle of winter?

Last night I ventured out in the ice and snow wearing 5-inch heels. I thought there was nothing wrong with them. I felt confident in myself with the shoes on, so why should it matter what was on the ground? It was amazing how many people commented on them saying "you're crazy!" or "put some socks on, you're going to freeze!" Since when did it become unacceptable to wear flip flops or high heels in the winter?

Do you pack up your high heels or open toed shoes for the winter? Or do you wear them proudly all year round?
