When the Supreme Court ruled that gay couples have the constitutional right to marry, people across the country took to social media to show their support. Minnesota Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson was not one of those people.

In a series of tweets posted by Robinson shortly after the Supreme Court's ruling, the cornerback compared gay marriage to pedophilia and incest.

Since posting the tweets, Robinson has made his Twitter account private. SI.com, however, still has the controversial tweets posted.

Here's what Robinson had to say on Twitter about the Supreme Court's ruling:

Love is Love? So what will we say when the 30yr old loves YOUR 10 year old? When the dad loves HIS 6 year old? It's different?? Yea ok!

The day one person makes that stand, some may support, but many will say that's sick! That day I will say "hypocrites" #untilthen

When did we start defining a word by using that word? Smh. If you really want to know. Love is... 1COR 13:1-13

In the end EVERYONE has a right to believe what they want to believe. You shared yours, I shared mine. #BelieveiT

"As a Christian I love EVERYONE and I will always share my beliefs we may not agree and that's ok. God is love, 1John 4:8"

It seems quite interesting that Robinson mentions he will always share his beliefs, no matter what they may be, yet he made his account private shortly after he went on this tirade.

Obviously, one has to assume that someone in his crew advised him to make his account private for the time being. There's a pretty good chance the tweets were deleted completely, though we may not know unless the account is made public again.

The Minnesota Vikings have not commented on what Robinson posted to Twitter, but I think it's safe to say that Robinson might be looking for work relatively soon.
