Head-On Collision in Mandan Kills Two Women Early Saturday Morning

An early morning crash on Bismarck Expressway, near McKenzie Dr., in Mandan, claimed the lives of two women Saturday, June 27th.

According to KX News, a 28-year old Mandan man was driving west bound in the east bound lane of Bismarck Expressway when his 2010 Dodge Ram pickup hit a Volkswagen Jetta head-on.

A 21-year old Mandan woman and a 22-year old Lincoln woman were killed in the crash. The two were passengers in the Volkswagen Jetta and neither was wearing a seatbelt. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram and the driver of the Volkswagen Jetta were both injured in the accident and taken to St. Alexius.

The crash remains under investigation.
