We've been blessed with very nice and seasonably warm weekends for the last 2 weeks, but now a change is coming. After all, it is November and Thanksgiving week is coming up!

The National Weather Service has issued a HIGH WIND WATCH until 11/19 (Thursday) at 12 PM.

As the system moves through the area, the Bismarck area will have cooler weather and much stronger winds. According to the NWS, we can expect winds between 50 and 60 MPH. The counties effected will be Adams; Billings; Bottineau; Bowman; Burke; Burleigh; Dickey; Divide; Dunn; Emmons; Foster; Golden Valley; Grant; Hettinger; Kidder; La Moure; Logan; McHenry; McIntosh; McKenzie; McLean; Mercer; Morton; Mountrail; Oliver; Pierce; Renville; Rolette; Sheridan; Sioux; Slope; Stark; Stutsman; Ward; Wells; Williams.

These conditions will effect high profile vehicles and persons that work in construction or outside. Expect much cooler temperatures this coming weekend compared to the last two weekends. Highs in the 30's and night time lows in the 20's.
