Highway Trooper to Face Possible Citation for Driving Wrong Way
A North Dakota Highway Patrolman will face a possible citation for driving the wrong way.
Highway Patrol lieutenant Troy Hisher led the response to a collision between a freight train and school bus, will possibly get a traffic citation for driving the wrong way on a highway. The accident he was responding to was near Larimore.
The patrolman has returned to work after being on administrative leave.
He is accused of driving the wrong way about 4 miles on US Highway 2 the night of the accident.
Some felt as though this was a cover up since Hischer's superiors were not notified about the incident until after a blogger made it public.
