Classic car enthusiasts descended upon Carson on Saturday, August 19th, for the seventh annual Rods and Rock Car Show, hosted by the Stewart Ranch.

More than 130 cars, trucks, motorcycles, and antique tractors were entered into the show, with the top three in each class winning part of $3,500 in cash prizes.

All of the proceeds from the event went to the Prairie Learning Center in Raleigh, which provides help for boys in the area with behavioral issues, among other things.

The Rods and Rock Car Show is put on in conjunction with the Grant County Fair.
