There's nothing better than loading the family in the car during the holidays and driving around to see all the different Christmas lights on display. This year, make sure to carve out some time to check out a particularly impressive display right here in Bismarck.

For the 7th consecutive year, Holiday Lights 4 U, run by Justin Roberson, a 21-year-old mechanical engineering student at NDSU, has organized an amazing light show set to music of all different genres.

For the entire month of December (and through January 3rd), onlookers can drive down Columbine Lane in Bismarck and enjoy a remarkable exhibit of Christmas cheer. Show times are every evening from 5:30-10:15pm (11/28/14 - 12/11/14), and 5:00-11:00pm (12/12/14 - 1/3/15).

This year, spectators can enjoy a 13-minute show showcasing 30,000 lights (7,000 more than last year!), and a variety of songs including:

  • Let it Go
  • Nutrocker
  • Deck the Halls
  • Jingle Bells
  • Dreams of Fireflies
  • Lights of Christmas
  • Frosty the Snowman

Justin asks spectators to tune to 90.1 FM while viewing the display, and to be courteous to the neighbors by dimming your head lights.

So while you're out and about this holiday season, make sure to schedule in 13 minutes to take in this truly impressive spectacle - you won't be disappointed.
