American Idol might be one short week away from airing its final episode, but judge Jennifer Lopez seems to already have her next gig lined up: permanent guest on James Corden's Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke segment.

On last night's (March 29) episode, the dance-pop veteran joined the late-night TV host for a round of traveling performance, and between short sets that featured the singer's "Love Don't Cost A Thing," "Booty" and "Jenny From the Block," the show gave Lopez's Las Vegas revue a run for its money. Still, for all J. Lo's English-language hits, it's a Spanish production — "Que Hiciste" from 2007's Como Ama una Mujer — that moves Corden most in the clip above.

"I think music and lyrics in Spanish are so much more beautiful and poetic," Lopez says. "It's so much more dramatic."

Then, when Corden asks about the song's meaning, J. Lo gets a bit aggressive.

"[It's] 'What have you done? You destroyed everything we've had with your lies — with your own hands, you did this,'" she explains.

"I'm sorry," Corden responds. "I messed up."

"You guys usually do," she fires back.

And if Corden's latest production — which also includes a prank text to Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio — leaves you smiling, there's more to come.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Corden is shopping around the show as a standalone series to interested networks.
