Katy Perry Performs, Casually Hangs With Two Former Presidents At 2015 Starkey Charity Gala

Katy Perry has been making headlines for a whole bunch of reasons as of late, good and bad (and shady): From subtweeting Taylor Swift, to notching over 1 billion views for "Roar," to battling nuns while gracing the cover of Vogue Japan.
Last night, the Prism pop princess added a decidedly selfless (and patriotic!) news item to the list by appearing and performing at the Starkey Hearing Foundation's So The World May Hear annual gala in St. Paul, where former President George W. Bush was honored for his work in supplying hearing devices to those in need in Tanzania, along with Delta Zeta Sorority and nonprofit theater group for the deaf, No Limits.
Wrapped in a giant poofy dress, the Super Bowl show-stealer performed a 5-song set, including "Teenage Dream," "Part Of Me," "Firework," "Unconditionally" and her 2013 summer empowerment smash "Roar," backed by a set of back-up singers, a band and instruments all decked out entirely in white.
Evidently however, becoming pop royalty isn't enough for Perry.
In a backstage photo taken with both former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton (as one does), the "Peacock" princess jokingly suggested she's about to become the next one sitting in the Oval Office. "42, 43, 46?!" she captioned the photo. Hey, if Donald Trump is actually being taken seriously as a candidate for 2016...
According to the organization's official website, the Starkey Foundation conducts "hearing missions in the United States and around the globe in an effort to bring the gift of hearing to those in need."
