The 2017 MTV European Music Awards were held Sunday (Nov. 12) in London and hip-hop was well represented. While Kendrick Lamar didn't go home with the Best Hip Hop award, the DAMN. rapper and his song "HUMBLE." did win the award for Best Video.

In a surprise to many fans and the winner, Eminem took home the award for Best Hip Hop, even though his last album was The Marshal Mathers LP 2. A shocked Shady told the crowd, "I'm not really sure how I got this because I haven't had an album out in a few years."

Last week, K. Dot's "HUMBLE." surpassed one million downloads in the U.S. Following the week ending on Oct 26, the song had sold 1,005,416 units. And while sales of the song were down, it still managed to chart at No. 17.
