Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom Charity Scandal

I hate this story, to think anyone would use charity to solicit money for themselves is unthinkable. However the work of "Cathy's Kids" is coming under scrutiny, the charity founded in the name and honor of Lamar Odom's mom is supposed to serve cancer patients and under priveleged youth. Read the mission statement on the couples ebay page:

"Cathy's Kids was developed as a means for Lamar to streamline all his charitable efforts and focus on making a positive impact on the lives of under-privileged children, as well as targeting a disease that has played a significant role in his life, cancer."

The charity has raised 2.2 million dollars and of that money it has served two youth basketball teams in New York  (the teams received 1.6 million dollars). However the money trail to serving those with cancer or cancer research is cold with no donations/treatments/funds being dedicated to the focus of "Cathy's Kids".

This is disappointing as Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are public figures who could truly be helping people in need. Read more of the scandal.
