The queen of setting a mood is back again.

Late last night (January 8) Lana Del Rey dropped new song "hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but i have it," the latest track released from her upcoming sixth studio album, Norman Fucking Rockwell.

"I've been tearing around in my fucking nightgown / 24/7 Sylvia Plath / Writing in blood on my walls / 'Cause the ink in my pen don't work in my notepad," Lana sings in her signature somber tone, accompanied only by chords played lightly on a piano.

"hope is a dangerous thing..." follows Lana's 2018 singles "Mariners Apartment Complex" and "Venice Bitch," which are also expected to land on her upcoming new album.

Just last week, at the very top of the new year, Lana announced she had finished the new album and teased "hope is a dangerous thing..." in a now-deleted Instagram post. Norman Fucking Rockwell is expected to be released on March 29, 2019.

Listen to Lana's latest release above, and let us know what you think. Now that we've heard three tracks off the project, are you excited for her new album?'
