With each new awards show cycle come the endless jokes about Leonardo DiCaprio's continued failure to procure the most prestigious of all acting awards. Yes, even now, in this year 2016, Leo has yet to score an Oscar and he's had countless jokes lobbed his way for it.

Not all hope is lost, though. You can try to actively make a difference by helping Leo earn his first Academy Award -- well, sort of.

An online video game, created by The Line animation studio, called “Leo’s Red Carpet Rampage” pokes fun at the fact that the actor has yet to win any of his four Oscar nominations, turning his loss into our gain. The game — which you can check out in all its 8-bit glory on its official site — is pretty straightforward: Race down the red carpet -- sometimes against other actors (Bryan Cranston as Trumbo, Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs, etc.) -- to reach the coveted golden statue first.

There are bonus rounds where you can earn extra points ("act harder," "quaalude overdose" which references a scene from The Wolf of Wall Street) as well as obstacles to dodge (paparazzi on the red carpet, Lady Gaga) and extra points to earn in the form of Emmys, Golden Globes and other awards.

Will Leo finally win a Best Actor Oscar for his role in The Revenant come February 28? Who knows! Who cares!? May the jokes (at Leo's expense) keep coming, win or not.

And head over to Leo's Red Carpet Rampage to play.
