One Direction is evidently less so now that the boy band's members are embarking on different musical journeys — Liam Payne says he's got no interest in traveling down Harry Styles' path.

Payne, who released "Strip That Down" last night (May 18), said in a new interview with Music Choice that he's been listening to his former fellow bandmates' new material, and that where Styles' "Sign of The Times" is concerned, Payne will probably leave the track off of his personal rotation.

"I'll be honest with you, it's not my sort of music," he said of the '70s-leaning rock sound. "It's not something I'd listen to, but I think he did a great job of doing what he wanted to do. That's the way I'd put it best, I think."

Still, Payne insisted he meant no harm by the remark, and that he's sure the sentiment will eventually be reflected back to him.

"I think that the funny thing is, [Harry] would say the same thing about me because he doesn't really listen to hip-hop music, whereas it's like my song's more ‘Rack City' and his song is more of a different era to something I'd listen to, I guess."
