Yes, you read that right. A property owner in Philadelphia is in trouble after stuffing $300 in cash down a city worker's pants in an attempt to bribe him during a property reassessment.

Ri Quang Wu, 59, faces charges of bribery in official and political matters and obstructing the function of government.

The city official was having none of it. He tried to return the money to Wu, but Wu refused to take it. The official then turned the cash over to his Bureau of Revenue and Taxation superiors.

District Attorney Seth Williams says the case shows that the city is not for sale and that employees won't tolerate dishonest behavior.

Wu is currently awaiting trial; bail and defense information is unavailable at this time.
