The Minnesota Twins' 2015 season did not start off the way they wanted, after the team was shutout by the Detroit Tigers 4-0 on Opening Day.

Ace David Price pitched 8 2/3 scoreless innings for the Tigers, while sluggers J.D. Martinez and Alex Avila added homeruns to help give Detroit the 4-0 win.

Twins starter Phil Hughes pitched six innings, giving up eight hits and four runs, in a losing effort.

The two teams will take the day off Tuesday, before resuming the series in Detroit on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 12:08pm CST.
