After a long battle with cancer, 'Real World/Road Rules Challenge' star Diem Brown died Friday morning (11/14). She was 32.

Brown's brave battle was well-documented, as she first revealed she was suffering from ovarian cancer during the 2006 season of MTV's 'Fresh Meat' at the age of 23. After beating the diagnosis, the cancer came back in 2012. Just this August, Brown was diagnosed with cancer for the third time, this time in her stomach and colon.

Even as the hits kept coming, Brown was known for her upbeat attitude. Last month she told People, "It's my personal perspective that you live as hard and as vigorously as you can. My goals are something I believe in, because I believe I'm going to make it." Just three days before her death as her prognosis became bleak, she again showed her fighting spirit:

Brown's longtime boyfriend, Chris 'CT' Tamburello, also well-known from MTV, was by her side throughout her battle. Just last week, he posted a tribute to Brown on his Instagram account:

MTV released the following statement on Friday:

MTV is tremendously sad to hear the news that Diem Brown has lost her long battle with cancer. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Diem was a true fighter and brought passion to everything she touched. We will miss her.

Our thoughts are with Diem's friends and family at this difficult time.
