I am holding a Jessie Veeder CD in my hand, I feel connected to the music that represents the prairie, wide open spaces of North Dakota and the stories of life, love and a woman finding herself.

I was given Jessie Veeder's CD at Makoche Recording Studio in downtown Bismarck, which is where she recorded her album. I was told "You should really check her out, I think you will like her". I have been listening to her since late summer of 2012 she is gentle in her words, mixed with folk, country and soul.

You can listen to Jessie Veeder live tomorrow night for her CD release party at O.N.E. (Formerly Mysteria Theatre) in Mandan at 210 West Main Street. Showtime is 7pm and admission is $7. In addition to Jessie Veeder, you can hear the sounds of John Lardinois and Aaron Hummert.
