The North Dakota State Bison had a first round bye in the 2017 FCS Playoffs and their second round opponent was determined on Saturday night (November 25th).

The San Diego Toreros dominated the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on the road, 41-10, to advance to a date with North Dakota State at the Fargodome next Saturday.

The Toreros scored on three straight possessions in the first half that helped them to jump out to a 17-0 lead and they never looked back from there. San Diego quarterback Anthony Lawrence passed for 228 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Emilio Martinez ran for 117 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown.

San Diego outgained Northern Arizona, 439-238 in overall yardage in the rout. The victory moves the Toreros to a record of 10-2. They will meet the Bison at the Fargodome on Saturday, December 2nd at 2:30 p.m. and can be streamed on ESPN3.
