NDSU Men’s Basketball Team Ranked Fifth in Preseason Poll

The loss of head coach Saul Phillips and Summit League Player of the Year Taylor Braun definitely hurt the defending Summit League Champion North Dakota State Bison in the first 2014-15 preseason poll.

The Bison have been picked to finish fifth in the Summit League, despite being the defending conference champions.

NDSU senior guard Lawrence Alexander was named to the preseason All-Summit League first team, while junior guard Kory Brown landed a spot on the second team, according to GoBison.com.

The Bison open the regular season on the road against Texas on November 14th.
