Before the Missouri State Bears knew what hit them, the North Dakota State Bison were up by three touchdowns...at the end of the first quarter. NDSU would roll to a blowout victory.

Easton stick threw 5 touchdown passes, all coming in the first half, and the Bison defense was stellar once again in a 48-7 rout of Missouri State. Stick would finish 15 of 24 for 238 yards with the 5 touchdowns and an interception.

NDSU (10-0, 7-0) scored on each of their first four possessions. The scoring started off when Stick hit Dallas Freeman on a 29-yard scoring strike to go up 7-0. After a Missouri State (4-6, 2-5) three-and-out, the Bison would score on another 29-yard touchdown, this time to Ben Ellefson to make it 13-0. The point after was no good. James Hendricks picked off Bears quarterback Peyton Huslig on Missouri State's very next offensive play and again, the Bison were in business. Three plays later, Stick went to Nate Jenson for a 43-yard touchdown and it was 20-0 before the end of the first quarter.

Stick would also throw another touchdown to Ellefson from 5 yards out to make it 27-0, and a 27-yard touchdown pass to Lance Dunn to make it 34-0 at the half. The Bison defense only allowed Missouri State to have only one possession in the first half that wasn't a three-and-out or an interception, and that drive ended by turning the ball over on downs.

Adam Cofield added touchdown runs for NDSU of 14 and 5 yards in the second half to round out the scoring. He also finished with 85 rushing yards on 12 carries. Seth Wilson added 95 rushing yards on 8 carries.

NDSU kicker Cam Pedersen set a Missouri Valley Football Conference record with his 230th career extra point in the game. He was 6 of 7 on the day.

The Bison's final regular season game will be next Saturday at the Fargodome against Southern Illinois (2-8, 1-6) at 2:30 p.m.
