If you like participating in activities outside, that is a quality that doesn't make you the least bit unique.

Outdoor activities are awesome and a new study from Men's Journal confirms that North Dakotans participate in some form of outdoor recreation. Nearly every single North Dakotan who is capable of doing so in fact.

Apparently 76 percent of North Dakotans participate in outdoor recreational activities which is among the highest in the United States.

Only Idaho (79%), Montana (81%) and Alaska (81%) have more people who participate in outdoor recreation.

For what it's worth, Census estimates from 2016 show that nearly 15 percent of the population is over 65 and about 7 percent of the population is under 5.

In other words, 76 percent of North Dakotans participate in outdoor recreation and about 20 percent of North Dakotans are either aging or really young.

Assuming the older individuals and the super young individuals are less likely to participate in outdoor recreation, it means that basically every human in North Dakota between the age of six and 64 likes being outside.

Somehow, that isn't the case in every single state in the U.S. What the heck are all those other people doing? I have a Twitter account. They definitely aren't spending their time reading.
